Personal, Social & Learning to Learn

Competencia Personal, Social y de Aprender a Aprender (CPSAA)

Personal · Social · Aprendizaje · Autonomía

Overview

This competence integrates three interconnected dimensions: personal development (self-awareness, emotional regulation, resilience), social skills (empathy, collaboration, conflict resolution), and metacognitive learning strategies (planning, monitoring, and evaluating one's own learning). It is foundational for lifelong learning and active participation in society.

Why It Matters

The ability to understand oneself, relate constructively to others, and take ownership of one's learning is essential for academic success, mental well-being, and responsible citizenship. CPSAA equips students with the inner resources to navigate complexity, setbacks, and change throughout life.

Key Dimensions

1

Self-awareness & Emotional Regulation

Recognising and managing one's emotions, strengths, and limitations.

2

Resilience & Growth Mindset

Persisting through challenges and viewing mistakes as learning opportunities.

3

Social Skills & Empathy

Collaborating effectively, resolving conflicts constructively, and showing empathy.

4

Learning Strategies

Planning, monitoring, and evaluating one's own learning processes.
